One-page websites – Britney Spears Second Era and 8-bit Highway Star
One-page websites are developing. There are two websites, each one a single page. You can scroll through them, read, and look at pictures. This is Britney Spears Second Era, a website about the musician. And Highway Star, a website about an 8-bit Dendy cartridge, a racing game.
Britney Spears Second Era. It's mainly about four music videos and two albums. The videos are "Circus," "Radar," "Hold It Against Me," and "Till the World Ends." And the albums are "Femme Fatale" and "Circus." The second era begins after school. When she's like a schoolgirl – cheerful, and "Baby One More Time." And the second era is about these four music videos, which, as a fan, I constantly rewatch.
The first thing I thought of was "Circus." Such a movie. Yes, Britney Spears is almost like a movie. She dances and sings. And this level of cinema is really cool. And there's a circus, there's an elephant, a hat. Sand. And some kind of surreal, strange film. Like a half-sleep or a dream. Doves fly out of the hat. Lots of people. I was already lost like a little boy. In this strange world of sand, half-shadow. Very beautiful. Cool video! I remember it from TV.
The next impulse I got was "Hold it Against Me." There's the singer in a white dress. And a rocket launch pad. And a jacket. Two of them. Which I adore so much. White and red. She's a pop star of Music Television all over the planet. A pop princess. There's also a fight scene with Britney Spears, she fights with herself and paint flies everywhere. Beautiful. Art pop. And in the video at the very beginning—you'll never believe it—they speak Russian! That's really unusual! It's very unusual! But cool!
One page, two different designs. The text is the same.
Highway Star is an 8-bit game. For the Dendy console. I spent my entire childhood with it. Bright sand and palm trees. My brother has a red car. And I have a yellow one. We divided the cars that way. But everyone could play however they wanted. The second level is a night city. A very beautiful map. The level is beautiful. A black background. And white light. And in the first level, we're going to the sea. To the beach, I guess. Such a trendy word. There, beyond the palm trees, beyond the horizon, there simply has to be a sea and a beach.
This is also a single-page website. There are three design options. And you also scroll and read this page.
The racing game is great. You could say it was my brother and I's first cartridge. For the Dendy console. And we played it a lot. A race against the clock. And you won't get there right away. You need to practice. And the first level, of course, is very memorable. The summer level or the desert. And the second one is a night city. My brother once made it to the third level. There's a sunset. Just like my brother and I decided. Something about Greece and ruins. I have so many vivid memories associated with this cartridge. It also says "Wow!" on it. And a red car—that same red Ferrari—drawn in the dark.
One-page websites—two more websites have been added. The idea is slowly developing. These are small websites. Consisting of just one page. And you have to scroll, or rather, scroll with your mouse. They're small now. It's interesting. It helps me practice my simple HTML, a little CSS, and just a little PHP. I've even developed a format. It's for practicing website layout. It's my passion to make a simple website. One page. And I can design it in different ways.
With pictures and backgrounds. The site header is a picture. The logo. And the site background. You can use different colors. It's beautiful. I also like doing this kind of work. In the future, a one-page website can evolve into a two-page, three-page, or multi-page site. And the idea can evolve. The one-page site itself will remain. A new, more multi-page site will simply be created on its basis. And you can also create different designs. It's a fun addition to what you've already done. Just one page—and sit back and design it.
