One-Page Websites – A Sock and Commander Keen

This is a project to create an entire internet. In the form of one-page websites. This is how I teach and reinforce simple HTML skills. Website development is layout, including HTML tagging skills, logic, and filling the site with content, meaning both text and images. This is the purpose of these fun one-page websites.

The project's name reflects its essence. Each website is a single page, with some kind of design. Sometimes the same website can have different visual designs. That's what makes it interesting. It's fun to design it differently. Use a different background. But the content itself—text and images—is the same.

This time, there are two websites. The first is about a sock. The second is about the MS Dos game Commander Keen. Simple websites, each with its own theme. That's two websites in total. A sock is a fabulous winter wool sock. It's very comfortable to wear in the winter. When it's cold. So that winter is magical and not cold. This sock really helps. My dad gave it to me. So that I don't freeze in the winter. A beautiful sock with deer and patterns.

The second site is a game for IBM PC MS DoS. Commander Keen. About the first part of this game. A kind and interesting jumping game about a boy. He has a jumping jack. And even a gun. And a helmet. And he flies his spaceship. He's 8 or 9 years old. And on Mars, he gets caught by the Voltrons. And they hid parts of his ship in different corners of Mars.

It's a 2D game with a side view. With bright graphics. You jump through levels. There are also these funny aliens - green ones. One-Eyes, as I always thought. You have to jump and collect pizza and soda. There's also a cool map with a top-down view. You walk around and select levels. A game – just think about it, Id Software. They made Doom a long time ago. And they're here too! Talented guys!

The websites each tell their own story and show images. In the first case, it's a sock. Such a big, beautiful wool sock. Something to look at! In the second case, it's a game, game screens.

On the website about the sock, you can take a closer look at it. I took lots of photos. It turns out there's something to say about my sock. It's magical. Warm. Woolen. With a beautiful pattern. Just like a winter fairytale. Sometimes you miss these things in life, and here it is – a wool sock. As if knitted. With beautiful deer and decorative elements. The sock reminds you of a fairytale. A winter fairytale. And right there – New Year's! The deer will come in handy, as they say. Blue. White. A little dark red. A warm thing. Warm things are very useful in winter.
