Alice in the Park – Autumn is Ending

A field, autumnal. Alice walks along a path. The path leads her on and on. The field is orange and dark yellow. These are dried leaves and grass. The path is clearly long. And magical. Because it's long and seemingly the same length.

Alice kept walking and walking. A breeze blew. And nothing changed. Until now. The field began to change. It began to end. Alice realized this because bushes began to appear. And small trees. Some were still green. Autumn is ending here. So thought Alice.

And minute by minute. The green bushes became more and more numerous. The forest was beginning again. So thought Alice. And it was true. Trees were already appearing. Green. And tall. There was grass on the ground again.

The ground was sandy. And black. This was the forest. And it was quiet and calm here. It was quite warm here again. Alice began to feel calm. It was as if she were in a magical dream. She walked more slowly. The field was gone now. But sometimes something resembling a field appears. Only it's green grass. Tall. It's been growing here for a long time. Everything is overgrown. And there are fewer trees.

"There's the sign," Alice rejoiced.

There was a wooden sign. And it had nothing written on it. In one direction, the line pointed to the valley of mushrooms. In the other direction, the line pointed to the village of ants.

"Exactly! Just as the mushroom said! What a clever mushroom! Alice met him there in the field!" Alice thought. And she rejoiced even more. Now it was clear where to go. She could go both ways. Just not back. Alice had no interest in going back to autumn and wading through such a large field.

"The valley of mushrooms. What's that about?" Alice thought.

"And the village of ants?" Alice thought. And she stood by the sign like a question mark.

There must be lots of mushrooms growing in the valley of mushrooms. Such big and magical ones. Alice decided so. She herself doesn't know why. And she even knows the ants. They are certainly cheerful friends. The ants have their own village. She remembered that clearly. And here it is written on the sign. The village of ants. They also solve equations. True, it is not clear they are all so smart. Or maybe not all, after all.

It must be fun in the village of ants. And there are mushrooms in the other direction. Healthy mushrooms will grow. Also interesting to see. Such an amazing and magical place. Tall and beautiful mushrooms. They have different caps. And multi-colored dots. A beautiful sight. What an amazing and beautiful world. Full of everything new. And every time – amazing.

Mushrooms grow there. Amazingly tall. Such a wonderful and quiet place. Full of something so magical. Something you don't notice before. But it is there. Such a moment. Alice knew such moments happened.

"So where should I go?" Alice thought.

There are no ants this time. And it's so quiet here. No one to tell me where to go. The mushroom has already disappeared across the field. There are no happy ants in the bushes. The caterpillar doesn't come to meet her. Just like before. I need to somehow decide where to go now.

There's a wooden sign. It says in large, clumsy letters where to go. Mushroom Valley. Or the ant village.
