Countryside and Garden – the first day of May 9th, the weather cooperated!

Countryside and Garden. The time has come, May 9th, a holiday. The weather is fine. Yes, this time there were no frosts in May. And it was quite warm that day. I went for the first time this year. To start a new season. Countryside season 2026. I've been waiting for this moment for a long time. I prepared plants and flowers. Some of the flowers were taken to the countryside by car. I planted them. And that's only part of it. I'll be taking flowers to the countryside like this. To plant them in the garden.

This time the weather was perfect. May 9th, a holiday. The first day at the dacha. It's Saturday. Everything coincided, as they say. And the weather also cooperated. Overall, it was warm and sunny. I ran around in shorts. I need a source of positivity. This is the countryside and garden. I planted all day and didn't even notice how time flew by.

What will grow and what will take root in the garden is still a mystery to me, too. I planted a lot of different plants, including some new to me. I was actually planting until 6:00 PM. I might have finished a little earlier in some places. Marigolds, asters. There were definitely some. And a bunch of other things. I have them all labeled, but this is my first time planting anything like this, so I don't remember them all.

I spent my entire active day planting. It was a warm day. I was running around in shorts. And it was a lot of fun. I laid out my things on the second floor. I brought them all there. For the summer. This is my computer. And then I went out into the garden to plant. There I spent the whole day. Towards the end of the daylight hours, it got chilly. If the day had still been warm, like an autumn day, or August, but a little chilly. But it was fine in shorts. Then in the evening, it was already autumn weather. Colder. And it was more difficult in shorts.

I planted everything. All the seedlings I had prepared for this time. And I even tried planting some as seeds. This is a new approach. Directly into the ground. I dug a little and planted some seeds. Mostly seeds, they're small. But there are some big ones, too. Peas, I think. Big seeds. We'll see what grows.

I was busy all day. I was tired. And I didn't even notice how the day flew by. But the fatigue was completely normal. I was just tired. My legs were tired. Then I warmed up under a blanket. Because by 6 PM it was already quite cool, like autumn. The next day was May 10th. It was already autumnal. Quite cool. You shouldn't run around in shorts.

So I was very lucky with the weather on May 9th. I had a festive mood. I was gardening. I planted a lot of plants, some new to me. Now the main thing is that they grew. I grew them in a chicken container. That is, a small container. But it was enough for the seeds to germinate. The perfect theme. A bunch of plants of the same type grew at once. And I usually planted them in a clump. I didn't shake the soil. I separated them into individual plants. That's how I planted them. It's easier that way.

The only thing is, the first time I spent a ton of time planting each plant separately from that chicken-sized packaging. This is a Zinnia Graceful 'Bright Lanterns.' Because a bunch of plants grew in there. And I planted each one. And I remembered it. It took a lot of time and effort. The rest I planted with the whole piece of soil. They usually shake out completely. And the roots are underneath. Tightly. It's more convenient that way. Now it remains to be seen what grows. Literally the next day there should be rain. In general, I watered vigorously too. Dug a hole. Watered. Planted. Watered again.

Also, you need to pay attention to transportation. In the car. I carried everything myself. And somehow I seriously damaged a couple of plants. Broke their flowers. Bent a stem there. In several plants. Too bad. That's just how it happened. A certain group of plants. In large pallets, they went to Mom and Dad. They planted them there themselves. They were marigolds. Wonderland. I have the most marigolds.

The day was spent working. And very positively!
