The marigolds are already blooming!
I'm already getting ready for the new gardening season. I've planted a lot of different things. It's already April. And soon it will be May. And just think, at the end of May, I'll be going to plant all this stuff. I haven't mastered everything in this process yet. And there's something to be amazed about. Marigolds! They've started blooming! Damn, ahead of time. Not all of them, just some. 1, 2. Literally a few!
That's the most amazing thing! They've started blooming! So quickly! Why so quickly? I'm getting them ready for summer! Another whole month, and even one more. Damn, I miscalculated a bit. But so far, only 1 or 2 have started blooming. Marigolds are easy to grow. They grow well! My mom and dad explained it to me. There are flowers that grow easily. A couple of years ago. Things like marigolds, daisies, asters, cornflowers. I've been looking for something similar myself since then. I saw something growing in my garden last year. And I picked some more flowers.
The cornflower has already grown quite large. Also quite green. For now. The marigolds are already large and green. When they're very small, they look similar. So, you can tell asters from marigolds by the number of leaves and their arrangement. But the leaves themselves are the same. Then they grow. And they become different. The cornflower is surprising with its shape. These leaves point in different directions. And the marigolds are like a Christmas tree.
Asters are also growing well. They're also a good type of plant. They grow well. So far, the most resilient ones are marigolds, cornflowers, and asters. That's for this year. I already have the most of them. Flax is also growing. Bright Eyes. It's a little more difficult. It's a small branch that stretches or creeps somewhere. In all sorts of directions. It has small leaves. And in strong sunlight, it dries out.
It needs to be watered very often in strong sunlight. That's more difficult. Unfortunately, I'm probably transplanting the plants incorrectly. From a small container to a larger one. I first plant them all in a container like the one everyone grows in. A bunch of plants of the same kind. Like juice boxes. Or seedling containers in sections. And then I see them growing. It's time to transplant them into individual containers. Until summer. To 8 by 8 centimeters. I transplant them. And some of them don't take root.
Maybe I
waited too long. My garden only expanded in size this year. Last year, I grew
everything in small seedling containers. This year, I'm already growing them in
8 by 8 containers. It's taking me a while to get them. Maybe I'm wasting time.
And the plants are already big. With big roots. And I'm damaging them. Maybe
I'm transplanting the plants incorrectly. I need to read up on how to do this.
Maybe I'm
even overwatering them. Or, conversely, someone is waiting for water and
there's none. All this this year is a new experience. This is a more complex
type of plant. As well as some other species. Which, I think, I even managed to
flood. Again, this is my blog. I'm preparing the garden. And I'm writing
everything as it is. Not everything is going super clearly. I don't know what's
left of some species. I then plant something else in their place. I haven't
tracked the process.
There are
also some plants. They grew in a chicken packaging. And their roots are already
tangled. I didn't bother untangling them. There are white roots underneath. I
just managed to pull this thing out. With soil. The roots are tightly entwined.
The soil holds. It pulls out like a strip. With soil. And I simply planted it
in a larger container and added more soil. And the growth started right away.
So far, these are green leaves. I'm talking about Gaillardia lorenziana.
I also tried replanting Leucanthemum. It fell apart. A whole corner. That won't work. Just add more soil. There's Alysum. There's something else growing. I labeled some things carefully. And I've already forgotten what's growing. There's still so much to do in the garden! I need to figure out how to plant flowers properly!
