Alice in the Park – Alice Meets a Green Caterpillar

Alice walks along a wide path. And around her is a field. So vast. And it seems endless. Like an ocean or a sea. Yellow grass. And dry twigs. Rising up. These aren't grass anymore, but simply dry yellow or orange twigs. Brown. Reddish. Gray. Brown.

"This is how diverse twigs are in nature," Alice thought to herself.

'These aren't twigs, but dry grass. This is a field!' “Not a forest,” Alice corrected herself.

Alice walked. And remained silent. She only thought about this field. What else could she do here? Her legs would get tired of walking. Where did this field even lead? And did it even lead anywhere? That was what worried Alice most. Otherwise, she’d have to go back again. Going forward was more fun. Than going back.

It seemed to be someone coming towards her. They were slowly appearing. On the horizon. Someone was walking towards Alice from afar.

“It must be the ants again,” Alice thought.

She’d been here for some time now. And nothing surprised her. It was the usual thing. Ants that were smart and kind. Talking ants. Or someone else.

She walked on and even began to wonder who was up ahead. The silhouette began to become clearer. And it was someone quite large. And green, too. And many legs. Or as big as worm.

“Wow! "Oh, my!" Alice said in surprise.

Meanwhile, the big green caterpillar was approaching. And it was moving forward. Towards Alice. And Alice was moving forward. Into the depths of the field. Towards the caterpillar. Each of them has their own word – forward.

The caterpillar was already very close. And so they walked towards each other. The caterpillar was a lovely green color. And its underside was on the ground. So the caterpillar walked or crawled. Alice didn't know whether a caterpillar walked or crawled. Which was more correct. This even made Alice think for a second and stop.

It's somehow strange. I see a caterpillar. But I don't know exactly. Is a caterpillar walking or crawling? Alice thought. And stopped.

Meanwhile, the caterpillar blinked its big round eyes. It also stopped. Near Alice.

"Hello! "I'm going there," said the caterpillar. His voice was leisurely.

"I'm going there!" Alice replied, pointing in the direction he was going.

"I'm just over there!" the caterpillar said slowly and contentedly.

They even began to talk quite well. And they continued their conversation for quite a while. Alice learned a lot about the caterpillar. And she told the caterpillar about herself. You could say they even became friends. And they became friends. The kind of friends you enjoy drinking tea with. Discussing music, computer games, cartridges, and records.

"This caterpillar is quite nice!" Alice thought to herself.

From their conversation, Alice learned that the field was indeed long. But the road was straight. And wide. And you just have to keep going forward. And the field will end. And you can go both ways.

After chatting with the caterpillar for a while, they decided that they should each continue on their own. And then meet somewhere for tea. The caterpillar advises. Have tea at the rabbit's. And so they parted. Satisfied.
