Miami Nights 1984- Gunblaze Assault – from an imaginary videogame fictional from first PlayStation!

 

Summer 2025 has not been without music. Special countryside theme. During the road to the countryside  I listen music. All around – it is summer, so nice! Well, it is can be a cold a while. Sound of this summer was Miami Nights 1984 – Gunblaze Assault. First sound of the summer. I listen this album on the road. From a retrowave band.

Retrowave music has atmosphere, and dream way. Nostalgia. And here there is Miami Nights 1984 they have done something else, something new to show. I never expect this kind of step from them. I was very surprised! But I like it! Even a lot!

And it is everything new here. From front cover up to the idea. And new sound. You can believe or not. And before our eyes something like sound track from arcade shooter. Something like they were for Neo Geo or Capcom Play System. With cool exciting sound also. Like for the first PlayStation such kind of shmups about little airplane or space. Such a bright and colorful about palette.

And frontcover here it is like a videogame. Shooter. With elements of anime. And robots are there. Sci fi someway. Like for the first PlayStation. And this is very stylish! But this is a music album. 9 songs about 2 minutes duration for each. With style of arcade shmups. Sounds exciting and cheerfully. With good bass and drive like it is taken from MegaDrive!

And still at the same time it is so nostalgia and dream way. Well, there were times I spent time for these kind of games by myself. Or some another way of games, it does not matter a lot for now. Tracks are exciting, synthesizers sound. First track has a certain title – starting screen. And here it is so arcade voice from arcade cabinet speaks some phrases from time to time. Like bonus, lets go!

And well – it is good and kind retro wave theme. Cool melodies. Just like from fictional, imaginary videogame about little plane. From the first PlayStation. Sounds so on air. As a funny joyful flight. And there is bass. And there are places for a dreams. Dynamics. And decline into the silence and rise. Everything is here. So theme as for a summer! Miami Night 1984 - it is cool!
