Frozen Arctic Station – something has happened with the station

 

Adventure. With Qb64. With retro style. Special for this purpose all graphic style is made with blue background. And white color. White color – it is drawing with lines. And text. Color of freeze. Snow and ice. Such a cold color.

This development was in my head for a long time. At the level with picture in the head. And, moment for making realization of these ideas is now. Some of the ideas, which I wanted to do. And these computer games I do now. It started everything with text quest – near the shoreline. It is, also, idea for a  game, which is about 100 years, as I can say. But, only now, I do this.

You are at the distanced, into the snow arctic station. Here, it is all the time - snowing. And cold. You are at the station. You are performing some tasks. You are not a scientist. But, you are writing scripts and understand about computers. So, what certain things are there – you cannot to say.

So, in one day. Boring working day. You went out to the corridor. Most casual. White corridor. With lamps at the top. You are walking it, everyday. This is your access zone. And, it has happened something unknown.

You see the world, again, after sometime. And, it is, again, same corridor. And, feeling, that something has happened.

So, with this game, it will be text part. As text quest. Or digital story. So, you need to read text. And there is a part with test. Test – it is screen with text. And several options to select from. As test. You have a question. What will you do. And two or three options to select from as answer.

Part idea of this game, it is, of course, a text quest and text story. And, also, bio hazard. As a game Resident Evil (Bio Hazard) has a title in Japan. T virus. And some action movies and horrors. Where hero is not so invincible. Once again, as Resident Evil. Or the Thing. At the polar station. It is low of understanding about situation. At first. Alien, as atmosphere. Explore of dangerous planet. And some science experiments. And, hero knows nothing about these.

It is idea of such fantastic game about faraway in snow explore station. Something has happened there. Blue background. And white text. As part of visual idea. Snow, ice. Cold. Blue and white. By colors.

You do some help for scientists, which are exploring something. And, several months, already, you are at the station. Amongst the snow. And ice.

Now, during the game, you will walk by this station. And explore it. Try to understand what happened here.

As idea, something like this, it was possible to do or to see with old computers. Ms Dos beginning 90s or 8 bit computers from 80s. There were lots of them. And they were different. Such a games about interest and atmosphere. Mainly, with text. Sometimes, there were drawings with line or drawings, art, pictures.

Such games go with steps. By turns. As Zork. Action - response. And, so next. So, to play this game, it is something like a read a book. Drink a tea and read story about arctic station. Where something is going wrong.
