Vi Aliens – let`s speak about aliens!

 

This is space shooter about aliens with top-down view. You, simply, fly, rather, fast. And shoot with laser. So, for this time, it is about more fast dynamics. And everything is so white here about visual.  And it is, simply, one more space shooter. Again, about aliens. Most, sci fi theme, as I can to say. Aliens. Space ships. They are Vi. And nothing more to know about them. So, a mystery. And something unknown.

So in game it will be such a white color interface. With letter Vi in main menu. So, in main part – it is here a program code from previous game - Free Linear Space. And, that’s why, sometimes it is similar here. So, it is ,also, has a menu - select player space ship.

New scheme of enemy behavior. And bosses themselves. Now 4 bosses and 1 mega boss. And 10 levels. In level - it will be a space ships. And they are rather fast to move. With different logic schemes. For example, only forward. It is most simple way of move. Or move forward until preset point. And later next you do a move side to the left or right, random selection. And after - again move forward. There is logic - you fly forward. And little move aside - by diagonal. Well, very a little. But, anyway, your fly course is changing. To the left or to the right. But, a little! It is example of a new movement.

And most big thing here - it is dynamic. Game is dynamic. That’s for sure at this time. Based on science fiction. Well, in some parts – tv series Visitors from 80s. Dynamic raise rather good. New moves of enemies. New and a visual look. So, here it is 35 forms of alien ships.

So, here it is even such a thing - a big triangle. Something like type pyramid. Everything is rather relatively. Main theme - it is Visitors tv series from 80s and Star Gate Sg1. With flying pyramids. Something alien ships. I have my vision about alien ships, to dream about this theme.

Theme about aliens – it is standalone theme. Some visitors. So, saying more right - here we have Vi. Simple Vi. V and I. Looks like, they are Vi. Who are they? Small green humanoids? Saying correct, everything here in design is with white color – white little humanoids, it will be more right to say in this case. With so big head. And small height. As in science fiction. Maybe. Head of alien. As it was in some science fiction movie. Sucha vision in head. Picture. And Ufo sausage. Area 51. Most interesting science fiction theme!  

Aliens. With so big eyes. They look at you. And fly with space ships. As a real thing. I do not make it clear who are they – Vi. In game. So, it is not certain, and no need to think one way about aliens. Well, as a real thing, they can be very different kind. It is about a player`s selection. To make your own dreams. And discover this mystery. So, I make it this way. Maybe, it is like Star Gate Sg1, or well, rather humanoids. Almost like humans from Earth, or absolutely same. Well, they are, simply, they came from deep space. As a real thing, anything goes. It is about player`s choice.  Who are they Vi.

Just remember main idea. They are – Vi. And no more information! I think, that for vertical shooter it is more interesting.

And that’s why I do all visual side of the game to look solid these Vi theme. They are Vi. Everything is so white or dark gray light. Almost, like white. Letter Vi is appearing from time to time. Design of space ships. As pyramids. Rare. Or like triangle – it is often. Or like type letter V Latin. In different forms. So, about a fact about the game – it is more about design of space ships. Such a visual feature to identify. But, it is about this thing too. I like to program with editor Vim. First two letters. Also. So, what a meaning about Vi – it is about a player`s decision. I like editor Vim. And, so, someway, I make a game about this thing. I show my point of interest. Vi. So, this is Vi! What these Vi actually is? So, it is Vim. Something like that.

And, so, last thing to do - to program levels logic. It is not done yet. And, maybe, some little fixes. And, so, in any other case - game is ready. So, to program how will enemies move there. So, schemes for levels are not ready yet. It will take some time! And after that - it is ok to go to next game!
