Voidtrix – one more black and white shooter with theme of space. For this time, it is that certain simple space shooter, which I try to make from the beginning. And it was as a result – a game TRIA. But, this certain title I do, using program code TRIA. So, this is funny situation.

It is in the idea itself – simple space shooter. One player. 1 type of shooting. Black and white space. And UFO sausages as enemies. They are shooting with zigzags. Something like right orientation and left orientation. 4 types of flying sausages. First type – cannot shoot at all. Last type shoots with both types of shooting.

You are flying in space. And at your side - UFO sausages are flying. At first, start point, idea of a simple space shooter. And so, this moment is here, a moment for this certain game. Screen mode 320 x 200. Screen 7.

Game has a title voidtrix. Word void – it is emptiness. I am about space empty place. Space void. When it is low of stars or there are no of them at all. This is like empty space. As a black screen. For simple space shooter. And word Trix. And I do not know what this word means. But idea, is next, that your space ship – it is a triangle. And word TRIA I already use for another computer game. So, this is a new word that sounds like triangle. And element of science fiction. 80s. UFO. 8 bit computers.

Program part

Game is making with programming language QB64. And in main part - it is taken as a base – program code from game TRIA. Visual style – black and white game. Screen mode - screen 7. Resolution 320 x 200.

Screen mode gives ability to use 16 colors. But I want to make this game in black and white colors. Simple space shooter. With UFO sausages.

Development state

As a base it was taken a code from game TRIA. It is also a space shooter. And this game is more simple, by the way. Today, I already draw all game objects. There are few of them. 4 UFO sausages. 2 shots for UFO. Player - it is triangle. And his shooting. And 2 types of stars as a background.

It is programmed a movement of a background according algorithm. Background has different star intense. And speed of moving background. And it will be a void – where there is nothing at all at the background.
