Space Kovsh – attracting science data
Space Kovsh – It is one more game with retro style. 2 colors. Simple game process. 4 levels. For this time you have a science mission. And as a game base it has a TRIA game code. But, game process itself is remade. Now you are playing as space magnetic attract beam. And your beam has ability to focus. And you collect data. Science data.
In a line, they are a science data itself. They are - such a little squares. And inside of them there are circle. You need to move to them with your beam. And press button to attract. It is button space. And beam starts to attract data. This way you will gain science scores. Whole 1000 scores.
Everything is simple. You move left and right and press button space. Wait until beam takes data. It will takes some time. But there are obstacles. It is random fly meteors. They will interrupt you. You have 6 lives. Meteors fly vertical and horizontal. You need not to run into them. And if in radius of beam there is meteor – it is also counts as a damage.
Game is for those who dream about doing science and to be an engineer. Some like programmer retro kind about 80s. Like QBasic. So, you have a space beam. And it attracts a science scores. So, this is idea for a game.
And as idea, while I was doing a little game TRIA – space shooter. I already want to change game process. And has invention of idea for this game. Beam attracts objects.
About
attract point. You are doing something like aiming to object. And press button space.
And it goes animation 14 frames. And after that object disappears. And this way
you gain scores.
And also, I
am impressed with idea itself about computers from 80s. Simple graphics
ability. And some dynamics. Something space. And mystery of the future. Black
and white space – it is so attractive. And also it were a monitors with green
or orange glow.
Program
part
Game is
again with two colors. Black and white. White lines. Black background. And
screen resolution is 640 with 200. And game base code is TRIA. Game is written
with programming language QB64.
Right now,
main part is already done. It is programmed game process. It is most important.
And as I take as a code a game TRIA – so game process - it is most big
different. And already done simple menus. So they are updated to this
development. So menus are similar. Intro screen is drawn as new. So, I give
myself a try to say that game is done, but one simple not so fast.
But. I do
not make any checks of gameplay. I need to check different game situations. To
fix something. To check that game works.
This game
will be released in terms of new version Basic Pascal Pack games. This game and
some more games will be in a new version Basic Pascal Pack. As soon as I will
have several complete games. All of them will to be in a new version Basic
Pascal Pack. And a new version Basic Pascal Pack will be published for
download.
