X com Enforcer – funny crzy aliens

So, I do not play videogames a lot now. But in weekend I try some different things. So, in GOG I have such a game – Xcom Enforcer. I played it. So, I start this game for the first time. It is action from third perspective point of view. Even it is arcade. So, it has crazy gameplay.

By style, it is a lot of creativity and a little crazy, even in style of MDK. You - are a robot. And scientist has made this robot. Aliens makes attack. And scientist is telling you, that there is not time for checks and debugs. So, go and destroy aliens.

First stages are very funny and dynamical. Aliens are different – also they are small little humans. And also, they have some strange things, including robots. And your weapon is also strange. Blaster type. It is for start. So, disks you are throwing. Ice kind of weapons. Something like Sonic, if in those age, Sonic was in third dimension. Arcade. And it is very high quality arcade. You are throwing disk in all directions. Game has a fast rhythm. You are moving all the time. Also, like Quake 3 Arena. It is a game by MicroProse, Infrogames. Of those era. And maybe also a Rayman also from 3d is good for example.

It is a very dynamical and funny arcade. Yes, I need to say, that it is also names as X com. Game itself is very good and funny. But it has nothing about actual Xcom. Just funny run into the arena, labyrinth and shoot everything. All the idea – is to fast move, as in a good arcade, like Contra and shoot everything.

Arenas and labyrinth. 3d environment. Bright and a little with corners. Saying simple -run and shoot. It is the idea. Everything in dynamic. From enemies there is a drop -scores – data. You need to collect them also. Enemies makes a drop - bonus. New weapons. So, everything is changing in action.

Graphics is with corners and cool. Cool visual. Cool graphics. It has its own bright style. Game, maybe, from age of 3dfx, three dimensional graphics accelerator. In those age I do not play this game. It is funny and cool. It is main thing. I guess, the game title should to be another, not xcom.

You are a robot and you are running in arcade style and destroy everything. Pure arcade. Enemies and your weapons are such creative and arcade design. By complete a level. For a collecting scores – data is dropping from enemies. You do upgrade your weapons, skills, different upgrades. You do - open something new. New weapon, for example. So, it has some element of growing up after level. What you collect - for this score you can do upgrades. Arcade system of character progress. It is very interesting!

I can set a game about arcades type. Expendables, Rayman, Raiden, Sonic, Contra. Pure arcade gameplay. And in this style game is excellent. You play ten minutes, or half of hour – it is cool entertainment.
